Russian ministry to consider wheat export duty in autumn
IZHEVSK, Jul 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Agriculture Ministry will consider the wheat export duty in the autumn, when the grain harvest’s amount is clear, Minister Alexander Tkachyov told reporters Wednesday.
“Regarding the export duty, we will obviously lift it sooner or later. I think that we will seriously study the issue in the autumn and take into account the crop and what we will have in the reserves,” he said.
Russia imposed the wheat export duty of 50% of the price minus 6,500 rubles per tonne, but at least 10 rubles, on July 1, 2015.
